Friends on social media shared a weblog post service on ulu restaurants worth travelling for, together with this precious rock caught my eyes. Located inward the extreme North-East (near to Changi village) on the quiet Netheravon road, is this charming eating seat converted from a 1960s bungalow house. I picked this house for hubby's birthday dejeuner celebration. So much photograph opportunities here!
Ok, plenty photos already...let's cheque out the FOOD. The Ala carte bill of fare is rather simple, merely a listing of local SG delights amongst inflated prices. There are hawker fares, local western fares together with merely about snacks together with small-scale bites for sharing. Kids meals together with pizzas are also available here.
We ordered merely about of the most pop items recommended yesteryear reviewers. Two mains (Pork Cutlet Curry Rice $18++ & Ter Kar Beehoon $15++), 1 appetizer (Battered Otah Sticks $13++) together with drinks (Cheng Tng $7++ & Chin Chow Longan $6++).
The principal dishes aren't inexpensive but they came inward generous serving size, at that spot were ii thick slabs of pork cutlets (similar to pork katsu from Jap eatery), together with the beehoon dish was large plenty for ii pax. Both dishes were delicious. The otah sticks were yummy too, crispy together with fragrant...super addictive to munch on!
The Cheng Tng together with Chin Chow drinks were served inward huge Sugarcane drinkable mugs. Loaded amongst ingredients equivalent to almost ii bowls of like desserts establish inward hawker centers, these refreshing dessert-drinks are highly recommended.
